So, last night I went to my friend Terrie's going away party at Ben and Nick's. That was fun, but it was super crowded, with NBA finals going on and general summer feel goodness. Didn't stay long there, but long enough to give love to lots of my O-Hi crew. I will really miss Terrie and my other friend Laura as they leave for the other side of the country...sniff, sniff, but then again, I'll have places to stay in Boston and Florida!

Then it was off to La Pinata, or so we thought. As I'm leaving Ben and Nick's, I get Mat's text that La Pinata is too full so we went to the Lost Weekend Lounge down the street and I end up having a Vodka Kool-Aid because it's the 2-for-1 special. Now, I'm not a huge Kool-Aid fan in general, and the vodka wasn't really helping it, but hey, I didn't pay for the drink, so I can't complain. Finally, La Pinata "simmered down" enough for us to head back for Margaritas. Mat was lamenting the fact that I wasn't swearing like a sailor this year, but with no strike and no crazy work environment, there just wasn't a whole lot to swear about last night.

Anne said I've got to get the dirt in the blog--"why else have a blog?" she asks. I'm considering this, but then I realize I have passed this blog info to my big brother....hmmmm, maybe censorship is good. Besides if I broadcast dirt then no one will confide in me anymore, unless I become like Perez Hilton and become a celebrity blogger who gets paid to gossip--I'd be good at that job--maybe if consulting doesn't work out.

Well, off on the never ending quest to find Aisha a dress for her GED shindig. You know I've realized that I'm better about blogging than I am about getting work done on my position papers...a bit concerning, I'd say....
